Are you planning on launching an android app for HyperTexting? What’s the timeline?
Thank you for your interest in HyperTexting, @akawalec. HyperTexting for Android is definitely on our product roadmap. In fact we’ve taken great care to design the core functionality of HyperTexting as platform-independent components that can easily be reused in an Android app (it’s written in Go rather than Swift or Objective-C). The only Apple/iPhone-specific code in HyperTexting is the user app interface (about 10-20% of the overall code), so our plan is to design a native user interface for HyperTexting on Android that wraps the same core functionality components. We don’t have a timeframe for an Android release yet, but we will post about it here and in the main HyperTexting feed as soon as we have any news on that front!
Cheers,
Caleb
