I follow wired.com . In my HT feed for wired I see A LOT of items that offer promo codes - sometimes 4-5 consecutive such items. Why?

thanks for trying HyperTexting. I have observed this as well. HyperTexting displays posts in a reverse-chronological order (i.e. newest first) based on the date and time provided in the feed. If HyperTexting encounters a post with no date/time or a date/time in the future it uses the “seen at” time as the post date.
I haven’t inspected the wired.com feed to determine the exact cause of the concurrent posts, but my guess is they are publishing those sponsored posts in batches and/or using invalid/future dates on those posts that HT normalizes to the “seen at” time.
